Family LifeGroups exist to encourage the people of Family Life to fellowship together. From these gatherings around the city of Conway, relationships have been strengthened, God’s Word has been wrestled with and applied, followers of the Lord have grown spiritually, and prayer ministry has blossomed. Our desire is for transformation through our LifeGroup ministry by focusing all of our groups outward towards those who need Christ. These groups meet at various times during the week in various locations. To join a LifeGroup contact Tommy Wallace or contact the respective LifeGroup leaders below by clicking their names to email and discover locations and dates.
Sunday Family LifeGroups
Ephesians: Weekly Adult Bible Fellowship ~ Bill Clay
This Sunday morning group meets in the classroom adjacent to the foyer coffee bar and focuses on building relationships with each other as Christ is followed, in obedience to His Word. This is accomplished by identifying key Bible precepts from the text and understanding the behavior associated with them. We encourage, exhort and comfort each other as we grow in grace and walk in what the Bible teaches. This group meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at Family Life's campus.
The Gospel of Mark: Ladies ~ Karen Throneberry
This group meets in a classroom adjacent to the coffee bar. We are a 100% ladies class. We are studying the book of Mark using the CLAP method (Content, Lessons, and APplications). Our class is unique as we have all age groups ranging from college age (at times) on up. We love each other, the Lord, and His word. This group meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at Family Life's campus.
Romans: Band of Brothers (Men) ~ Carl Jacobs
Come join the “Band of Brothers” LifeGroup in the room to the left as you enter our building. Right now we’re studying the book of Romans, led by Carl Jacobs. This is a great class to participate in and to discuss some of today’s most pressing issues. This group meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at Family Life's campus.
ComeTogether · Led by Rob Gilliom
Our group will meet at the Gilliom's house on Sunday nights. It is open to everyone, but is especially focused on college students, those serving our student ministries and young adults. We will have an ongoing conversation about the question, "What does it look like to walk with Jesus?" Individuals will be encouraged to share specifically what the Lord is teaching them in their lives. We are intentionally wanting a cross-generational mix of people, so we can learn from our shared and different life perspectives. This group meets every other Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Sign up HERE!
Wednesday Family LifeGroups
LifeTogether · The Gospel Meets Culture ~ Tommy Wallace
David Platt made this observation about Jesus. “With the task of taking the gospel to the world, he wandered through the streets and byways . . .” The gospel we share always finds itself in the arena of the culture in which we live. We always have a lot of fun in sharing past experiences and making new ones as we discover how to effectively engage the world and face its various problems using God’s Word and a variety of other resources. If you’re looking for great encouragement by a community that walks as one, then LifeTogether is for you! This group meets every other Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Sign up HERE!
Renewal Ranch Ministry Group · Led by Don Bingham, Jody Caviness, John Ferguson, & Brian Poppe
The Renewal Ranch Small Group will continue the study of the Devotional Life, with emphasis on worship, prayer, the ministry of the Holy Spirit and ministering to the residents going through the RR Recovery Program. We meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm at Renewal Ranch and the agenda includes smaller group sessions, prayer and worship, music, and fellowship! It's a great time to minister to others as we support this on-going ministry. This group meets every other Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Sign up HERE!
Thursday Family LifeGroups
Ecclesiastes & John · Led by Carl Jacobs
One of our fastest growing groups, our senior adults always have a great time in fellowship, Bible study, and ministry. They are presently studying the book of Ecclesiastes but will go to the Gospel of John after that. There will soon be an additional group that will be covering the same material but on a different day. Please sign up to stay updated if you would like to take part. This group meets each Thursday at 2:00 p.m. An additional day will be offered for another group soon. Sign up HERE!
